Alas firework shows and other distractions caused our number to dwindle to 29 for this film which was particularly praised in the discussion group for the single shot photography for the entire film.

One of our volunteer bakers created a White Fruit Cake as would have been eaten at the time the film was set. This was so good that it sold out despite our increasing the price to £2.50. This raised £27.50 which was donated to the Royal British Legion.

The short film before the main feature gave an insightful glimpse into life in Kent at the time of WW1 and was praised by all in the audience.
