Visitor Guide

Cinema etiquette
Please don't spoil others' enjoyment of the film by arriving late, whispering, unwrapping sweets, or using your phone after the lights go down.

Tickets

If you are unable to book online before the show, please call 0333 666 3366 as there will only be limited tickets available on the door. When you arrive at our Cinema you can get fast entry by having the QR code on your (paper or phone) Eticket scanned - the booking confirmation sent by email contains a link to this. If any tickets are left for sale on the door you may use contactless card or phone or even cash. For sold out shows, those on the wait list will be called before walk-ups are offered vacant seats.

Returns
We sometimes sell out before doors open and have to turn people away despite there being empty seats available. If you have a ticket and will not be attending, please let us know. Any seat not claimed before the interval will be liable to be allocated to someone else.  Late comers will be asked to stand at the back until the next interval.

Duplicate & Exchange eTickets
To avoid holding up those behind you when visiting our Cinema, please have the QR code on your eTicket to hand before entering the hall.  If you cannot locate it, you can get a duplicate by visiting https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/my-bookings and entering the exact name and address used when reserving your seats.  After 2 or 3 minutes a link will be sent to your email address giving access.  You can use the same method to exchange your seats for the same or a different show.

Chaperones and transport

We offer chaperones for anyone otherwise coming alone. Free local transport to/from our films is available for those unable to reach us under their own steam. We also operate a car pooling scheme to enable sharing of transport.

Raffles

We hold a raffle draw at most films. Thanks are due to our benefactors for donating prizes.  By buying a raffle ticket or two when you come to the Cinema you are in effect, supporting the charity that puts on films for the community every fortnight. Thank you. It would be very helpful if you would either pay for raffle tickets and drinks with a debit/credit card or bring sufficient small change.

Advertising and Sponsorship
If your group or business would like to discuss reaching our audience, please email Eugene.

Volunteering
We would like to take on a few extra volunteers. There are several tasks that need to be done for each film and we really have a great time doing it.  No previous knowledge required. Please send an email to see whether this may be something you would like to try. There is no commitment beyond the current week’s film so nothing really to lose.

Subtitles
We screen almost all films with subtitles and use an induction loop for those with hearing difficulties. Front row seats get the best view.

Review us please
If you have a spare minute to give us a nice review it would be much appreciated

New seating for bad backs
Our back row contains only high backed reclinable adjustable wide seats.

Newsletter Support
We send out a monthly digest to keep our community informed. If you aren't receiving it, please check our Spam & Delivery Advice. If you find you are receiving updates more frequently than once a month, you can find a full explanation of our mailing frequency and how to manage your preferences here.

Dogs
We welcome dogs to all events; they must be non-disruptive though.  Anyone who intends to bring a dog or has alergic or other problems with dogs, is asked to get in touch when reserving a seat at least a couple of days before the show so we may mitigate potential issues.

Contact details
When reserving seats for others please include their name and email address; previously something valuable was found after the show but we were not able to reach the owner quickly.

Film Homework - Bonus Content
To enrich your viewing experience, we often curate supporting short videos and background material for our films. While these aren't shown in the cinema reel, you can enjoy them by visiting the 'Discussion' tab on each film’s Facebook Event page. It’s the perfect way to dive deeper into the story before or after the screening.

Wheelchair and special needs

We welcome everyone irrespective of special needs.  If we know in advance what those needs are, we will be better able to facilitate a happy visit.

Disabled parking
Please leave the spot nearest the hall (by the new sign) free for those displaying a blue badge.
