Feedback Finder

The key mission of the feedback finder is to question the audience to establish what we could improve to enhance the experience. Try to approach every visitor who is not a volunteer please.


It is best to arrive at about 7pm to catch people soon after they arrive. There are different techniques for achieving the key mission: a direct question is often met by an unhelpful answer, so fishing around the subject is sometimes necessary. Example questions could include the following - only a selection of course, we don't want to spend more than a minute or two with each person. Please ask whether people would like a reply to any points they make - if they do then their email address is required.


First time visitors especially should be invited to give their email address for receipt of the fortnightly newsletter and asked how they heard of our existance.


  • What were the best and worst aspects of this evening's experience ?
  • Should the volume or temperature be changed ?
  • Should we show a trailer for the next film as part of the short film sequence
  • Where exactly did you see this evening advertised ? [This helps us devote time and money most effectively]

  • What films would you like to see here ? [Please get a name (and ideally email address) as well as film name]
  • Would you like to be on our email distribution list ? [Many are already but for first timers please get their name & email address]
  • Would you like to learn more about becoming a volunteer ? [if so, please collect name and email address]
  • Are there any additional items that the catering table should stock ?
  • What would persuade you to follow us on Facebook and/or Twitter and share our posts ?
  • Do you know of anyone home alone who would like to join us ? We have free transport available for those who need it.
  • What would persuade you to join our discussion group after the film ?
  • How frequently should we send emails with a trailer for coming films, and how far in advance of the next film ?
  • Where do you come from [helpful for planning which summer fetes we should present at]
 

After the show please email the Coordinator with a summary of the results of the mission - ideally by lunchtime the following day.  Remember to take pad and pencil to the show.
